Subscription

Keep your software investment up to date for as long as you subscribe to this service. Always be compatible with “everybody else”.

Being on subscription will allow the client FREE annual upgrades of all minor releases. E.g. IntelliCAD Prof ver 6.6 or ver 6.7 or ver 6.8, etc.

Subscription members will enjoy a 50% discount on purchases of any major releases. E.g.  IntelliCAD Prof ver 6.6, ver 7.1, ver 8.1, etc.

Cost

Generally the cost is 10% of the current market value of the solution. The subscription amount is based on the volume of licenses that a client has. However a discount is applicable based on the volume.

• For 1 to 5 licenses. (10% x current market value x number of licenses is payable.)
• For 6 to 10 licenses.(7.5%x current market value x number of licenses is payable.)
• For 11 or more licenses. (5% x current market value x number of licenses is payable.)

Conditions

• Sliding scale. The subscription amount is based on the volume of licenses that a client has. However a discount is applicable based on the volume.
• (Late join subscriptions) Subscriptions without purchacing a new license may only be “added” later if, the client's existing license is already between 6 and 12 months old. In this case, 30% of the current market value of product will be charged per license as a joining fee for the first year, thereafter the normal 10% per annum.
• For clients with licenses older than 12 months a new license must be purchased with subscription.
• Subscription is calculated pro-rata for the first year and thereafter paid annually before the end of February.
• Should the required form not be completed and received by our offices by 28 February, we will assume that the subscription service is not be renewed. You will then be classified as non-subscribed and conditions will apply as such.
• Subscription is mandatory for ALL purchased licenses. In other words, your subscription is based on the volume of licenses and includes all purchased licenses.
• The subscription is charged at the current market value of the product and not the original purchase price. This also excludes any specials at which any products we acquired.

A client may only enjoy the late join subscription fee if:

• It is the first time that he subscribes late or,
• the client does not subscribe late for more than one year.
• A prior written agreement is entered into between the client and ourselves.

Cancellations & late payments

• Each subscription is valid for a period of one year only. Clients are required to annually complete and sign a subscription approval form in order to enable the service for the next year. This will also enable us to recalculate the correct current subscription fee payable based on your volume of licenses.
• Should this form not be completed and received by our offices by 28 February, we will assume that the subscription service is to be discontinued. You will then be classified as non-subscribed and may be charged a 30% of market value joining fee as per late subscriber.
• Each individual client license may only be upgraded by a new legally purchased copy or subscription for that license.
• Blue Ocean reserves the right to claim the annual fee per license as per sliding scale, backdated from the date of purchase due to inappropriate upgrading of clients licenses.
